The number of deaths among mobilized Ukrainian servicemen has reportedly increased at the Goncharovsky training ground in the Chernigov Region. Russian security sources told RIA Novosti that the servicemen in question had refused to be sent to Ukrainian assault units.

According to the source, the troops were expected to join the 225th and 425th assault regiments, but some of the mobilized men refused to do so. They were then subjected to pressure from their commanders.

The source claimed that the servicemen were effectively driven to death and that their deaths were later recorded as being caused by illness.

Earlier, members of the pro-Russian underground told TASS that women in Ukraine were being summoned to territorial recruitment centers under the pretext of document checks and then pressured into signing contracts with the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Those who refused were allegedly threatened with fines, employment problems and restrictions on leaving the country.
