Russian forces continued strikes on military-related targets in the Ukrainian rear overnight on September 15.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, a logistics center in Velikaya Balka, Odessa Region, was hit. The facility was used to store and distribute military cargo arriving from foreign countries.

In the port of Chernomorsk, Russian strikes also hit a dry cargo vessel and a roll-on/roll-off ship that were transporting supplies for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Russian forces additionally attacked railway infrastructure in western Ukraine that was involved in moving military cargo from European countries.

Ukrainian sources also reported several targets struck during the overnight attacks. Kiev Mayor Vitaly Klitschko said a warehouse facility in the Obolonsky District had been hit.

The Kiev city military administration reported explosions at filling stations in the Darnitsky and Goloseyevsky districts of the capital.

Ukraine’s State Emergency Service also reported that a railway locomotive had been struck in Volyn Region.
