Russian forces continued strikes on military-related targets across Ukraine during the day on September 15, with local monitoring channels reporting impacts in several regions.

At around 11:00, explosions were reported in Dnepropetrovsk Region. According to Ukrainian monitoring channels, FAB high-explosive aerial bombs fitted with universal planning and correction modules, or UMPK, were used against Vasilevka.

Roughly half an hour later, explosions were heard in Yuzhnoye in Odessa Region and in Sumy. Russian forces may have used jet-powered Geran drones in those attacks. Several minutes later, further strikes were reported in the Podolsky District of Odessa Region and in Bereznegovatoye, Nikolayev Region.

During the first half of September 15, Ukrainian monitoring resources also tracked large numbers of Russian strike drones moving along several routes.

Some UAVs were heading toward Novoukrainka and Alexandria in Kirovograd Region. Others were moving along the border between Sumy and Kharkov regions before turning toward Dnepropetrovsk Region. Additional drones were reported flying from the Black Sea toward Ochakov.

Separate groups of Russian UAVs crossed Kharkov and Poltava regions on a course toward Dnepropetrovsk Region, while jet-powered drones were detected in northeastern Chernigov Region.

According to official data from the Ukrainian Air Force, the Russian military launched around 200 strike UAVs at Ukraine overnight on September 15. The force reportedly included jet-powered Geran drones, Gerbera UAVs and Parodiya decoy drones.

The Ukrainian side claimed that most of the drones had been shot down or suppressed by 8:00 a.m. Impacts were reported at seven sites, while falling debris was recorded in three other locations.
