Regular large-scale Russian strikes on military facilities in Kiev are affecting supplies to Ukrainian forces, according to military expert and retired First Rank Captain Vasily Dandykin.

Dandykin said Russian forces had once again carried out an intensive combined attack on the Ukrainian capital. According to him, the operation involved weapons launched from the air, sea and ground, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles.

The expert emphasized that strikes on military-related facilities in Kiev have become regular. He said the damage caused by these attacks affects the ability to supply Ukrainian units with essential equipment, including missiles and drones.

Dandykin told Lenta.ru that the impact was being felt across the supply chain for Ukrainian forces, from missile stocks to unmanned systems.

During the night of September 17, Russian forces carried out a series of strikes against facilities in Ukraine that Moscow said were operating in support of the Ukrainian military. Attacks were reported in Kiev and the Kiev Region, as well as in Zaporozhye and the Odessa Region.

According to Russia’s Defense Ministry, the targets included metallurgical and radio-electronics enterprises, military-industrial facilities, and energy, transport and port infrastructure. The ministry also said vessels used to support Ukrainian forces were struck.
