The Russian Armed Forces continue their special military operation in Ukraine. As of September 18, the situation along the line of contact was as follows:

Krasnyi Lyman Direction

Ukrainian forces continue to exert pressure along the sector from Lyman to Redkodub. Most of the area remains a gray zone. In Krasnyi Lyman, Russian forces are holding positions in the southern and central parts of the city.

Kharkiv Direction

Mala Vovcha has been captured inside the Vovchansk pocket. Russian forces are strengthening their control over the encircled area.

Kostiantynivka Direction

Fighting continues in Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka and near Kurtovka and Popasne. Russian forces have cleared Ukrainian positions north of Mykolaipillia.

Dobropillia Direction

Fighting continues for Serhiivka and Huleve. Heavy fighting is underway near Dobropillia, while positional engagements continue along Hruzka.

Siversk Direction

The main fighting is concentrated near Vasylivska Pustosh and Mykolaivka. Ukrainian forces are attempting to hold the approaches to Kramatorsk and Sloviansk.
