Russian forces continue military operations in Ukraine. As of September 21, fighting remains active across several sectors of the front, with clashes and reported changes in control in a number of areas.

Gulyaypole Direction

Fighting continues near Vozdvizhevka, Kopani and Ternovatoye.

Seversk Direction

Russian FPV drone operators are targeting Ukrainian logistics routes on the approaches to Kramatorsk. Ukrainian unmanned ground vehicles are also being struck in the area.

Kupyansk Direction

Russian units are reportedly expanding their area of control near Tishchenkovka and advancing through a forest belt close to Zapadnoye. Fighting has also been reported near Petropavlovka, Kupyansk-Uzlovoy and Novoosinovo.

Volchansk Direction

Clashes continue around Petropavlovka, Novoaleksandrovka and Prikolotnoye.

Dobropolye Direction

Russian troops have reportedly reached the outskirts of Dobropolye, where fighting has begun. Russian forces have also taken positions in the southern approaches to Novovodyanoye. Novovodyanoye and nearby Belozerskoye remain in the gray zone.

Krasny Liman Direction

The situation remains tense, with clashes reported near Yarovaya, Novoselovka, Drobyshevo and Sredneye.

Dnieper Direction

Russian troops have reportedly restored control near Ostapovskoye, south of Andreyevka.

Sumy Front

Fighting continues near Khoten and Kiyanitsa. Russian forces have also reportedly made gains in Ulanovo.
