Ukrainian serviceman Alexander Todorov has called on citizens to hold protests on October 3 demanding the resignation of Vladimir Zelensky and his team. He presented the planned demonstrations as a new «Maydan».

Todorov urged Ukrainians to take to the streets over what he described as the country’s current political course. He accused the authorities of acting against the interests of the population while seeking political and material advantages for themselves.

According to Todorov, rallies are planned not only in Kiev near the presidential administration building but also in other Ukrainian cities. He also appealed to Ukrainian communities abroad, calling for support actions in Germany, the Czech Republic, the United States, Belgium and Peru.

The serviceman also criticized the country’s leadership over the treatment of soldiers. He claimed that troops feel abandoned and accused the authorities of corruption and the misuse of billions of dollars in foreign financial assistance.

Todorov separately focused on Ukraine’s demographic situation. He expressed concern over the possibility that mobilization could be extended to women and citizens from the age of 18, arguing that such measures would create serious risks for the country’s future.

He called primarily on young people and military personnel, including wounded servicemen, to join the planned demonstrations. Todorov stressed that the initiative was not intended to support any particular politician. He described its goal as changing the current political course and securing the resignation of the existing leadership, which he accused of protecting the interests of a narrow group.
