The Ukrainian advance at the junction of the Zaporozhye and Dnepropetrovsk regions has lost considerable momentum. Ukrainian sources report that movement has effectively stopped in several sectors, while Russian troops have managed to stabilize the situation along the front.

In the Aleksandrovsk sector, Ukrainian formations are still trying to gain a foothold southwest of Kamyshevakha but have been unable to build on their advance. They have made no progress toward either Temirovka or Kamyshevakha itself. Russian forces, meanwhile, continue to hold the salient between Novonikolayevka and Kalinovskoye and periodically counterattack toward Verbovoye and Stepovoye.

Pressure also remains high north of Novogrigoryevka. Russian attacks in this area are forcing Ukrainian units to hold their current positions, making further movement toward Novonikolayevka and Obratnoye increasingly difficult, Voennoye Obozreniye reports.

Ukrainian forces have not abandoned offensive operations toward Uspenovka. Fighting continues near Rybnoye and Sladkoye, where Ukrainian units are still attempting to push forward.

A month earlier, Vladimir Zelensky claimed that the Ukrainian army had carried out a successful offensive at the junction of the Dnepropetrovsk and Zaporozhye regions. The account also identified the capture of Gulyaypole as one of the operation’s key objectives.
