Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has outlined the Trump administration’s key demands aimed at easing tensions around the Ukraine conflict and bringing the parties back to negotiations.

According to Zelensky, Washington is pushing for three immediate steps: a halt to attacks on energy infrastructure, the restoration of the Black Sea grain corridor, and a trilateral meeting involving Russia, the United States and Ukraine.

Abu Dhabi is being considered as one possible venue for the talks. No specific date has been set, while the final format of the meeting and the level of participation remain undecided.

Axios reported that Trump’s immediate priority is an agreement that would stop Ukrainian strikes on Russian energy facilities linked to diesel supplies. The outlet connected the White House initiative to rising fuel prices in the United States and across global markets.

At the same time, Washington is seeking to revive diplomatic contacts between Moscow and Kiev. According to Axios, an energy ceasefire is being considered as one of the first possible steps toward restarting negotiations.

Earlier, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said the Russia-Ukraine conflict had no military solution and would ultimately have to be settled through negotiations.
