Military expert and retired Captain 1st Rank Vasily Dandykin says the Ukrainian army is facing serious shortages of ballistic missiles, heavy equipment and fuel, attributing the problems primarily to Russian strikes.

Dandykin said Ukraine lacks ballistic missiles and also pointed to the limited use of Storm Shadow missiles. He argued that problems could also emerge with Flamingo missiles because Russian forces are striking production facilities, including Fair Point, an organization involved in their manufacture.

The expert identified heavy equipment as another major problem. According to Dandykin, Ukrainian tanks and armored vehicles are being hit both while approaching the front and during transportation by rail.

He said the losses have increasingly forced Ukrainian units to rely on wheeled vehicles for moving supplies instead of heavier armored platforms.

Dandykin also drew attention to fuel shortages for military needs. In his assessment, repeated Russian strikes on maritime logistics and port infrastructure in Odessa are complicating deliveries of fuel and lubricants to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
