Russia Strikes Ukrainian Naval, Logistics and Data Sites

Russia says overnight strikes hit Ukrainian naval facilities, drone warehouses, a Vodafone data center and a logistics hub used to support Ukrainian forces.

Russian forces carried out a series of overnight drone strikes on September 27 against facilities used in support of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The targets included logistics hubs, port and transport infrastructure, communications nodes and maritime vessels.

The Russian Defense Ministry said the strikes hit the headquarters of the Vostok naval base of the Ukrainian Navy and a State Border Guard Service facility in the port of Kiliya in the Odessa Region.

The ministry also reported strikes in Nikolayev against two warehouses containing drones and warheads.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, four storage facilities holding military supplies for the Ukrainian Armed Forces and elements of port infrastructure in Kiliya were also hit.

In Kiev, Russian forces struck a Vodafone data center. The ministry said the facility was used to provide Ukrainian troops with mobile communications, high-speed internet access and channels for transmitting intelligence data.

Another strike targeted the Zammler Group logistics center in Krasilovka. According to the Russian side, the site was used to store and distribute Western military aid intended for Ukrainian forces.
