Russian forces have taken control of Khripuny in the Kharkov Region, according to the Russian Defense Ministry’s September 27 battlefield report. The ministry said units of the Sever Group of Forces played an active role in the operation.

According to the report, the settlement came under Russian control following offensive actions in the area.

Russian troops are also continuing offensive operations in the northeastern part of the region. The Defense Ministry reported ongoing fighting near Prikolotnoye, Nesternoye, Lukashovo and Grachovka.

The ministry also said Ukrainian formations had been struck near Varvarovka and Rublenoye. The Sever Group of Forces continues to expand its zone of control while increasing pressure on Ukrainian units operating in the area.

Near Nefedovka, Russian forces prevented two attempts by Ukrainian servicemen to break out of the encirclement, according to the same report.

The Russian Defense Ministry said total Ukrainian losses across all sectors of the front over the previous 24 hours amounted to around 1,515 personnel.
