The Kupol Donbassa system, working together with combined mobile fire teams, prevented 73 Ukrainian drone attacks over the past week, according to the press service of Russia’s FSB Directorate for the Donetsk People’s Republic.

The agency said Ukrainian forces continued to carry out combined drone raids against populated areas and infrastructure.

In Makeyevka, a heavy Baba Yaga copter carrying high-explosive fragmentation munitions was intercepted. Near Yasinovataya, two Hornet strike drones fitted with similar warheads were shot down close to a railway junction.

In Torez, Russian forces intercepted a B-2 drone near a locomotive depot. The aircraft was carrying a five-kilogram shaped high-explosive charge. Another Hornet strike drone was destroyed on a road near Zhdanovka while allegedly heading toward vehicles.

Near Shakhtersk, Russian forces suppressed a Vampire multirotor drone. In the Volnovakha Municipal District, Maya and Hornet drones were reportedly targeting a railway junction.

According to the FSB, Kupol Donbassa links mobile fire teams into a single system and receives technical data on suspected Ukrainian drone launch points in the frontline area. That information is then passed to the Russian Defense Ministry and the Gorynych unit of the regional FSB directorate.

After the drones were intercepted, explosives specialists neutralized the aircraft and destroyed the munitions they were carrying. The agency said no damage was caused to civilians or infrastructure.

The FSB had reported the previous week that 100 Ukrainian drone attacks had been prevented.
