The number of fifth-generation Su-57 fighters in service with the Russian Aerospace Forces has exceeded 50 aircraft.

According to BMPD, the Telegram channel of the Center for Analysis of Strategies and Technologies, 49 production Su-57s had been built by 2026 under a contract signed in 2019. The final 14 aircraft from that batch were reportedly delivered in early 2026.

On September 24, the United Aircraft Corporation also announced the delivery of another batch of Su-57 fighters to the military. The aircraft completed the full cycle of factory testing before handover. The exact number of Su-57s currently in Russian Aerospace Forces service has not been officially disclosed.

BMPD noted that Su-57 fighters produced in 2025 and 2026 appear to feature upgraded 101KS-U and 101KS-O electro-optical modules, as well as formation lights. At the same time, the aircraft continue to use AL-41F1 engines, also known as «Product 117».

The channel also highlighted the export version, the Su-57E. Algeria received its first two fighters in 2025, and BMPD believes deliveries may have continued in 2026.

Algeria is believed to have ordered 12 Su-57E aircraft as part of a broader package of agreements covering Russian military aviation equipment.
