Ukraine may use the Tomahawk cruise missiles supplied by the United States to strike one of Russia’s key drone production hubs — the Alabuga industrial complex, where Geran kamikaze drones are manufactured. This assessment was shared by retired U. S. Army Major General Jack Keane in an interview with Fox News.

According to Keane, the Alabuga facility near Yelabuga would likely be the primary target for Ukraine once it gains access to the missiles. He emphasized that the site is currently beyond the reach of Kyiv’s existing strike capabilities, making the arrival of Tomahawks strategically significant. The general also noted that as many as 20,000 North Korean workers are reportedly employed at the plant.

Keane further commented on the rhetoric of Russian President Vladimir Putin, pointing out that Moscow has been issuing similar threats of escalation since the administration of former U. S. President Joe Biden. In his view, such statements should be interpreted as an attempt to deter Washington from sending more weapons to Ukraine rather than a sign of genuine escalation.

Earlier reports indicated that the U.S. may transfer several dozen Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine. However, Western analysts have cautioned that this number is unlikely to dramatically alter the overall course of the conflict.
