Russian air defenses intercepted and destroyed 384 Ukrainian fixed-wing drones overnight on September 30, according to the Russian Defense Ministry. The attacks lasted from 8:00 p.m. Moscow time on September 29 until 8:00 a.m. on September 30 and covered 18 Russian regions.

Drones were shot down over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Volgograd, Voronezh, Kostroma, Kursk, Oryol, Penza, Rostov, Ryazan, Samara, Saratov and Ulyanovsk regions, as well as the Moscow region, Bashkortostan, Crimea, Tatarstan and Perm Territory. Air defense units also destroyed UAVs over the Black Sea.

The attacks had already been underway during the previous day. Between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Moscow time on September 29, another 21 Ukrainian drones were destroyed over the Belgorod and Kursk regions and the Black Sea.

The Belgorod region was among the areas subjected to the heaviest attacks. Ukrainian forces struck the region 115 times over the past 24 hours. Belgorod and the Alekseyevsky, Belgorodsky, Borisovsky, Valuysky, Veydelevsky, Volokonovsky, Grayvoronsky, Korochansky, Krasnogvardeysky, Krasnoyaruzhsky, Novooskolsky, Rakitnyansky, Rovensky, Starooskolsky, Chernyansky, Shebekinsky and Yakovlevsky districts came under attack.

Five artillery and multiple-launch rocket system strikes were recorded during that period. In another attack, an explosive device was dropped from a drone. Air defense crews and other units involved in repelling the attacks shot down or suppressed 119 UAVs.

Four people were wounded in the Belgorodsky and Shebekinsky districts. One of them is in serious condition and is receiving medical treatment.

In the Kursk region, 88 drones of various types were destroyed between 9:00 a.m. on September 29 and 9:00 a.m. on September 30. Artillery was used 49 times against evacuated areas, while drones carrying explosive devices attacked the region on three occasions.

Two houses and a car were damaged in Lgov. In the village of Ilek in the Belovsky district, an energy facility was hit, leaving one street partly without power. A water tower and a grain facility were also damaged. Three cars were damaged in the settlement of Belaya. No deaths or injuries were reported in the region during the period covered by the report.

The attacks had deadly consequences in the Bryansk region. Near the village of Zamishevo in the Novozybkovsky district, an FPV drone struck a moving civilian car. The driver was wounded and died on the way to hospital.

In Klimovo, a kamikaze drone struck a civilian, leaving the man wounded. He was given medical assistance.

A total of 83 drones were destroyed over the Bryansk region during the past 24 hours. The attacks were repelled by Russian Defense Ministry air defense units, mobile fire groups from the BARS-Bryansk brigade and the Bryansk Linear Department of the Russian Interior Ministry on Transport, as well as Rosgvardiya units.
