Russian military sources report growing tension along the Sumy axis, where Ukrainian forces have stepped up their assault operations. According to the Telegram channel Arkhangel Spetsnaza (AS), Ukrainian units are attempting to replicate the tactics previously employed near Alekseyevka as part of the so-called «Kondratovka plan».

Assault teams from the 225th Separate Assault Regiment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are advancing in the gully area near Alekseyevka. Russian troops have also observed enemy attempts to infiltrate the front line with sabotage and reconnaissance groups dressed in Russian military uniforms.

Further west, Ukrainian activity is intensifying as well. Three assault groups from the 158th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade have reportedly been redeployed to Kondratovka.

The «Kondratovka plan» refers to a counterattack launched by Ukrainian fighters on October 12 near Kondratovka. That operation ended in failure after poor coordination between Ukrainian units. The 158th Brigade’s strike group went on the offensive, but the 225th Regiment did not provide the expected support, as its commander went missing following a celebratory gathering. Russian forces ultimately repelled the assault and eliminated the attacking Ukrainian unit.

AS also reports mounting Ukrainian pressure around Yunakovka. Additional forces are being moved into the area, with preparations underway for a counteroffensive from the southeast. Units from the 140th Separate Special Operations Center have taken up positions roughly seven kilometers southeast of Yunakovka, while to the east, troops from the 80th Separate Air Assault Brigade have been deployed.

Overall, the situation along the Sumy direction remains strained. Ukrainian infantry continues to apply pressure with ground assaults supported by drones, whose operations further complicate logistics for the Russian military.
