The Russian Armed Forces continue their special military operation in Ukraine. As of October 1, the situation along the line of contact is as follows.

Sumy Direction

Russian forces continue to advance deeper into the Sumy Region. Russian troops took control of Tolstodubovo and continued pushing forward through nearby forest belts.

Kharkov Direction

Russian assault groups advanced near Vysokaya Yaruga and Alisovka, while the Russian army took control of the village of Shabelnoye. Fighting continues around Goptovka.

Two Ukrainian assault groups launched counterattacks near Shevchenkovo but later withdrew to their original positions. Ukrainian forces are also concentrating armored vehicles in the area.

Russian troops made further gains near Rublenoye and Kolodeznoye.

Krasny Liman Direction

Heavy fighting continues along the Zherebets River, around Yampol and Zarechnoye, and north of Liman.

In Yampol and Zarechnoye, both sides are contesting individual positions, built-up areas and wooded terrain. Fighting remains active, with both sides conducting offensive actions.

Kupyansk Direction

Battles continue over the bridgehead near the Oskol River and across the Kupyansk area itself. Ukrainian forces are counterattacking between Zapadnoye and Kondrashovka.

Fighting is also underway near Novoosinovo and on the approaches to Glushkovka. North of Kupyansk, Ukrainian forces are attempting to disrupt supplies to Russian forward units operating on the right bank of the Oskol.

Konstantinovka Direction

Fighting continues around Alekseyevo-Druzhkovka and Kurtovka. Russian forces are also attacking near Dolgaya Balka and Ilyinovka.

Dobropolye Direction

Russian troops are advancing toward the outskirts of Belozerskoye and in the area of Veseloye Pole. Fighting is also taking place inside Dobropolye.

Zaporozhye Direction

Clashes continue in Lukyanovskoye. Russian forces are also advancing near Novoandreyevka and east of Novopavlovka.

In Orekhov, fighting continues in the western part of the city. The Russian army has taken control of Yegorovka.
