Russian forces continue their special military operation in Ukraine. As of October 2, fighting remains active across several sectors of the front, with Russian troops reporting new territorial gains.

Kharkov Direction

The Russian Defense Ministry announced the liberation of Vysokaya Yaruga, Nesternoye and Rublenoye. Fighting continues near Maly Burluk and Prikolotnoye.

Dobropolye Direction

Reports have emerged that the encirclement around Dobropolye has been completely closed, although this has not yet been confirmed. Russian forces retain the initiative and have achieved tactical gains near Raipolye and Sergeyevka. Fighting for Belozerskoye continues.

Konstantinovka Direction

Russian troops are reportedly advancing near Verolyubovka and Fedorovka toward Belokuzminovka. Heavy fighting continues in Alekseyevo-Druzhkovka.

Zaporozhye Direction

Russian forces have reached the outskirts of Omelnik and cut the road leading to Orekhovo from Chervonaya Krinitsa. Fighting continues for northern Orekhovo and Preobrazhenka, while Russian units are pushing toward Barvinovka.

Krasny Liman Direction

Reports from the area indicate that Russian forces have stabilized the situation and are holding defensive positions west of the Zherebets River. Ukrainian forces have been unable to establish a foothold in Yampol and Zarechnoye.
