Russian forces continued strikes on Ukrainian targets, with bridges in Zaporozhye coming under attack after earlier strikes on similar infrastructure in Kiev.

According to the Telegram channel Operation Z: War Correspondents of the Russian Spring, Russian forces struck two bridges across the Dnieper in the Zaporozhye Region. One of the attacks hit the Balochny Bridge, which Ukrainian forces use to move ammunition. Sources said the bridge was struck by an aerial bomb, leaving a crater at the impact site.

The Telegram channel also reported, citing the regional military administration, that traffic had been suspended on the Preobrazhensky Bridge and the cable-stayed bridge in Zaporozhye.

Strikes were also reported in the Kiev Region during the night of October 6. A Russian Geran jet-powered drone hit a truck parking area and repair workshops in the settlement of Nemeshayevo.

Several strikes in Kirovograd triggered a major fire. Sources also reported damage to a warehouse complex and a fuel storage facility.

Russian drones also attacked the Odessa seaport. Separate reports said a vessel was on fire in the Odessa roadstead.

Multiple explosions were reported overnight in the Vinnitsa, Sumy and Kharkov regions, as well as in Kramatorsk.
