Mobile fire groups of the 6th Guards Combined Arms Army, operating as part of the Sever group of forces, are using two-vehicle teams equipped with machine-gun turrets to destroy Ukrainian drones in the Kharkov Region.

According to a platoon commander with the call sign Varg, a properly selected position allows two vehicles, two crews and two machine gunners to engage any type of UAV.

Over the past week, the mobile teams worked alongside strike-drone crews from unmanned systems units and destroyed more than 20 Ukrainian reconnaissance UAVs in the region.

At the same time, rocket and tube artillery units of the 6th Guards Combined Arms Army continued striking targets across the Kharkov Region. An officer with the call sign Kedr said artillery crews destroyed more than 20 prepared positions and strongpoints over the same period.

Once a fire mission is completed, the crews conceal both their weapons and firing positions. Special materials are used to reduce their thermal signature, making it harder for Ukrainian forces to determine where the strike was launched from.

The artillery units operate around the clock and maintain close coordination with reconnaissance teams. According to Kedr, commanders continuously receive information on targets located within the range of available weapons systems.
