Vladimir Zelensky said he held an urgent meeting with Ukraine’s military command after intelligence reports indicated that Russia was preparing a large-scale strike on Ukraine.

He ordered faster distribution of defensive systems and stronger protection for key facilities. Zelensky also acknowledged that Ukraine remains critically dependent on supplies from Western partners.

According to him, Ukraine is working to secure the necessary equipment for F-16 fighters, interception systems and anti-missile weapons. He said the most difficult area is anti-ballistic defense, where supplies depend entirely on Ukraine’s partners, with discussions continuing on a daily basis.

Zelensky added that the meeting also focused on the organization of defensive lines. Particular attention was given to logistics, which he said has become one of the main targets of Russian attacks in recent days.

Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported strikes on several Ukrainian logistics facilities. According to the ministry, Russian forces carried out a series of attacks in the Odessa Region, destroying a missile and artillery weapons depot in Ilyichevka.

The ministry also said that a dual-use cargo ship and port infrastructure used to supply the Ukrainian military were struck in the ports of Chernomorsk and Izmail.
