According to journalists from the radio station RMF FM, Ukrainian Armed Forces are secretly training Polish military personnel in counter-drone warfare.

The report states that the exercises are being conducted under an agreement signed a month ago in Kiev by Poland’s Minister of National Defense, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.

The training is taking place under strict secrecy, as Warsaw is required to guarantee the safety of Ukrainian operators and servicemen involved in the program. For that reason, the locations of the training grounds have not been disclosed.

RMF FM also reported that these exercises are not limited to Polish territory — they are being held in Germany as well. The sessions are led by dozens of instructors who arrived from Ukraine, with participants including not only Polish soldiers.

Earlier, Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski said that Ukrainian troops would likely train Polish soldiers in drone defense at a NATO training center in Poland, noting that such an environment was «much safer» than inside Ukraine.
