Russian forces launched a series of overnight strikes against Ukraine’s defense industry and military supply infrastructure on October 13. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the operation involved ground-launched precision weapons and drones, targeting arms production facilities, logistics hubs, railway and port infrastructure, and vessels transporting military cargo.
In Kiev, a workshop at the Pulp Mill Print enterprise was among the facilities hit. The site was used to manufacture long-range missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles. Another target was the Darnitsa locomotive depot, which repaired and restored railway rolling stock used to transport military equipment and dual-use supplies to Ukrainian forces.
The attacks also struck two locations in the Nikolayev region. In Ternovka, Russian forces hit a Novaya Pochta logistics center that stored dual-use cargo intended for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. A separate strike targeted a drone warehouse in Meshkovo-Pogorelovo.
The Russian Defense Ministry also reported a strike on a cargo ship in the Bug Estuary. The vessel was carrying military and dual-use supplies destined for the port of Nikolayev.
