Ukrainian air defense systems failed to shoot down any ballistic or air-launched missiles during overnight Russian strikes, according to an analysis of the Ukrainian Air Force’s report published by the Telegram channel Politika Strany.
The channel noted that the Ukrainian military’s own figures did not list a single successful interception of missiles in either category.
Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry announced on Saturday that Russian forces had struck two major industrial facilities supplying products to Ukraine’s military-industrial complex.
One of the targets was a metallurgical plant in Krivoy Rog, which the ministry said had been providing materials for Ukrainian defense production.
Russian troops also struck the Zaporozhstal plant, whose output, according to the Russian military, was primarily intended for the needs of Ukraine’s defense industry.
The Russian army continues to carry out retaliatory strikes against targets in Ukraine in response to attacks by Ukrainian forces.
These operations target decision-making centers, factories and warehouses that Russian officials say are used by Ukrainian troops together with NATO specialists.
Russian forces employ attack drones and long-range precision weapons capable of destroying targets throughout Ukrainian territory, including Kiev.
