Russian forces continue their special military operation in Ukraine. As of October 18, the situation along the line of contact was reported as follows.

Sumy Sector

Fighting continues near Khoten. Russian forces are advancing toward Korenki.

Kharkov Sector

Units of Russia’s Sever group have completed the elimination of an encircled Ukrainian grouping in the northeastern part of the region. Russian forces also took control of Palamarevka and Kovalevka.

Fighting continues near Tishchenkovka and Moskovka.

Konstantinovka Sector

Battles are underway in Alekseyevo-Druzhkovka. Russian troops are advancing along the flanks near Kondratovka and Kurtovka.

Krasny Liman Sector

Russian forces are holding positions near Yampol and Zarechnoye, as well as along the western bank of the Zherebets River.

Fighting also continues along the Krivaya Luka-Kaleniki line and in the areas of Vasyutinskoye, Vasilevskaya Pustosh and Rai-Alexandrovka.

Dobropolye Sector

Clearing operations continue in Dobropolye, where Ukrainian forces are still holding several positions. The Russian army took control of Sergeyevka and Pervomaiskoye, while fighting continues for Belozerskoye.

Zaporozhye Sector

Fighting continues for Omelnik. Russian forces took control of Malokaterinovka and are also reported to be advancing near Verkhnyaya Tersa, Novosoloshino and Barvinovka.
