Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Oleg Tsarev said in an interview with Tsargrad TV that Russian strikes on Ukrainian targets in rear regions do influence the battlefield situation, but are unlikely to cause the complete collapse of Ukraine’s armed forces.

According to Tsarev, even if the country’s economy were entirely destroyed, Western deliveries to Kiev would not stop. He explained that European nations and the United States would continue sending weapons, fuel, food, and uniforms to sustain Ukrainian troops.

He pointed out that even if the Russian army destroyed all of Ukraine’s locomotives, Western countries would quickly replace them. Europe, Tsarev noted, has enough railway equipment to restore supply routes and keep military logistics running.

The former lawmaker added that Russia cannot paralyze Ukraine’s front line solely through strikes on its rear areas. In his view, the enemy’s «rear» includes not only Ukrainian territory but also Western allies that support Kiev-such as Poland, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
