Russian forces continue their military operation in Ukraine, with fighting reported across several sectors of the front. As of October 20, the battlefield situation is as follows.

Sumy Direction

Heavy fighting continues near Khoten and Velikaya Rybitsa. Russian troops have advanced in the Korenki area, while Ukrainian forces are strengthening their defensive positions near Turya.

Kharkov Direction

Russian units are pressing forward south of Novaya Kazachya and around Tokarevka. Further advances have been reported near Prikolotnoye and Maly Burluk. Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces are bringing in reinforcements and expanding their drone units.

Krasny Liman Direction

Russian troops are holding back Ukrainian attacks along the Zherebets River. Fighting is underway in eastern Krasny Liman and near Maslyakovka, with clashes also continuing around Yampol.

Konstantinovka Direction

Russian forces are continuing clearing operations in Alekseyevo-Druzhkovka. Intense fighting persists along the Kurtovka-Klinovoye line.

Dobropolye Direction

Heavy clashes are ongoing in Belozerskoye, where fighting remains intense.

Gulyaypole Direction

Russian and Ukrainian forces continue to clash along the Novoselovka-Kopan line.

Zaporozhye Direction

Russian troops are engaged in fighting near Kamenskoye and are securing new positions east of Stepnogorsk. Russian units are also advancing from Yegorovka, while clearing operations continue in Omelnik.
