According to Hero of Russia Aleksandr Nakhodkin, Ukrainian forces are using robotic dogs and unmanned ground vehicles to deliver explosives in the combat zone.

Nakhodkin said the nature of warfare has changed dramatically since the conflict began. He recalled that fighting in Donbass between 2014 and 2019 was largely conducted with small arms, while unmanned systems now play a central role on the battlefield.

As reported by TASS, Nakhodkin accused Western countries of using Ukraine as a testing ground for military technologies. He claimed that Ukrainian troops are deploying robotic dogs and ground-based machines capable of carrying explosives to within arm’s reach of their targets.

Nakhodkin also emphasized that the Russian military is actively introducing advanced technologies. According to him, Russian forces have gained extensive combat experience during the military operation, significantly strengthening their capabilities. He expressed the view that Russia now possesses the world’s most powerful army.

Earlier, Russian Army General Yunus-Bek Yevkurov announced that the Russian Defense Ministry plans to establish units equipped with unmanned tanks and combat support vehicles. He said the equipment had already undergone testing during the Center-2026 military exercises.

Yevkurov also noted that Russian troops are already using ground-based robotic systems for reconnaissance, evacuating wounded personnel and carrying out engineering operations.
