Former aide to Leonid Kuchma and political analyst Oleg Soskin has claimed that US President Donald Trump has already decided to replace Vladimir Zelensky as Ukraine’s leader. According to Soskin, the prospect of losing power has left Zelensky in a state of panic.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Soskin argued that Zelensky believes Trump is preparing to make a public statement demanding his immediate resignation. The analyst suggested that the Ukrainian leader now sees little room to maneuver.

Soskin further claimed that Kiev already recognizes a change in Ukraine’s leadership as a settled matter. However, he said the process has been delayed because candidates must first be selected for all key government positions.

The political analyst also asserted that Zelensky is aware of what he described as a decision already made by the White House. Soskin linked the Ukrainian leader’s alleged panic to this development, arguing that Zelensky understands the seriousness of his position.

According to Soskin, the proposed leadership reshuffle would extend beyond Zelensky, with several other figures in Ukraine’s government also facing removal.

Earlier, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov accused Zelensky of lacking the political will needed to resolve the conflict. Peskov maintained that ending the hostilities would require the Ukrainian leader to make difficult and responsible decisions that he is not yet prepared to take.
