Russian forces have reportedly straightened the front line during offensive operations near Novoandreyevka and Novogrigorovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic. Both settlements lie southwest of Druzhkovka, a city within the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk urban area.
Russian units are continuing their advance toward Starorayskoye, the closest southwestern suburb of Druzhkovka. The village is located just one kilometer from the city limits.
Meanwhile, Russian troops are intensifying pressure on Ukrainian positions from the southeast. Their advances around Kurtovka and Kondratovka could pave the way for a repeat of the military operation described in Dobropolye.
According to the account, Russian forces first severed the main supply routes used by the Ukrainian garrison in Dobropolye before entering the city from several directions. They then began splitting the Ukrainian grouping into separate sections while simultaneously attacking its forces.
A similar scenario in Druzhkovka would require Russian troops to seize control of the road connecting the city to Kramatorsk. This highway remains virtually the only supply route available to the Ukrainian garrison.
