Russian forces continue their military operations in Ukraine, with fighting reported across several sectors of the front. As of October 28, the battlefield situation is described as follows.

Sumy Direction

Russian troops are advancing toward Korenki, while small-arms engagements continue near Turya.

Kharkov Direction

Fighting remains intense in northern Kupyansk. Russian forces are expanding their area of control on the approaches to Kurilovka, with additional clashes reported near Maly Burluk and Novaya Kazachya.

Krasny Liman Direction

Battles continue inside Krasny Liman, where Russian units are conducting offensive operations in the central and southern parts of the city. Russian troops have also advanced in Dibrova, while fighting persists along the Yampol-Ozernoye line.

Konstantinovka Direction

Russian forces are pushing forward in western Alekseyevo-Druzhkovka. Clashes are also underway near Kondratovka and Verolyubovka.

Dobropolye Direction

Fighting continues around Sergeyevka. Russian troops are taking new positions in the settlement of Gulevo, southwest of Dobropolye.

Gulyaypole Direction

Russian forces are expanding their area of control near the village of Obshcheye, which they reportedly captured the previous day.

Zaporozhye Direction

Battles are underway for Orekhov and Preobrazhenka, while Russian troops are conducting offensive operations near Lukyanovskoye and Novoyakovlevka. Fighting has also resumed around Malaya Tokmachka.
