Nearly 100 homes were damaged in Voronezh during a Ukrainian Armed Forces drone attack on October 26. Inspections are still underway as officials work to establish the full extent of the destruction, according to city Mayor Sergey Petrin.

Russian air defenses detected and shot down 113 Ukrainian drones over Voronezh Region overnight and in the early morning of October 26. More than 70 were destroyed over Voronezh itself. Regional Governor Alexander Gusev reported widespread damage across the city. The regional Health Ministry confirmed that three people were killed and another 44 injured.

The attack left its mark on almost every district of Voronezh, with building facades damaged and windows shattered. Fires broke out at an apartment building, a business center in the city center, two dacha communities, a school stadium, and a garage complex. Several industrial facilities also caught fire, although Gusev said the blazes there caused no significant consequences.

With assessments of the affected buildings continuing, local authorities have decided to speed up the restoration of damaged windows. Residents who arrange and pay for the repairs themselves will receive compensation for their expenses.
