Russia will take part in a new round of trilateral peace talks on the Ukraine conflict, scheduled for November 10–11 in Abu Dhabi. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that Moscow will send a delegation to the upcoming meeting.
Peskov also confirmed that Russian presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky will remain Moscow’s chief negotiator. He will continue to represent Russia in discussions with Ukraine and the United States, retaining the role previously designated by the Russian president.
The announcement follows an earlier statement by US presidential special envoy Steve Witkoff, who confirmed that representatives from Moscow and Kiev would meet in Abu Dhabi on November 10 and 11, with Washington acting as mediator.
The upcoming negotiations will mark the first meeting involving all three countries in nearly nine months, ending a lengthy pause in the trilateral diplomatic process.
The talks will focus on three major issues: the terms of a potential cessation of hostilities, security guarantees and humanitarian matters. These subjects will form the core agenda as Russian, Ukrainian and American representatives return to direct trilateral discussions.
