Russian forces have launched an offensive across a front approximately 30 kilometers wide near Yurkovka in the Zaporozhye Region, according to military analyst Andrey Marochko.

Speaking to TASS, Marochko said Russian troops are operating along a broad 30-kilometer sector near Yurkovka, creating significant difficulties for Ukrainian commanders attempting to contain their advance. He added that Ukrainian forces had launched counterattacks near Yurkovka and Orekhov but failed to achieve substantial results.

The analyst also reported that Russian units had expanded their area of control around Novopavlovka, southeast of Yurkovka. He described the situation on the Zaporozhye front as highly dynamic, with both sides repeatedly attempting to improve their tactical positions over the past several days.

Marochko highlighted further Russian gains in the Lyubitsky sector, where Ukrainian troops continue to launch counterattacks while making extensive use of drone operators. As a result, Russian forces are simultaneously consolidating their newly captured positions and repelling Ukrainian assaults.

The military expert expects Ukrainian commanders to deploy additional troops and weapons to the Lyubitsky sector in the near future, aiming to increase pressure on Russian positions and sustain their counterattacks.
