The United States could launch another military operation against Iran as early as November 9. According to Fox News, which cited sources familiar with the discussions, the possibility of renewed hostilities was examined during closed-door meetings at the White House.

Senior US officials gathered on November 4 and 5 to consider potential military action against Tehran. One option involved launching a new offensive on November 9, a date that reportedly attracted attention because of the conditions expected in the night sky.

The timing coincides with a new moon, when the absence of moonlight leaves the night almost completely dark. Sources told Fox News that such conditions are particularly favorable for military operations, making November 9 one of the dates under consideration for a renewed attack.

Preparations are already nearing completion at US Central Command (CENTCOM), which is responsible for getting American forces ready for another round of fighting with Iran. However, the military has yet to receive formal orders to begin the operation. Despite the preparations, Washington has not made a final decision on whether to launch the strikes.

Meanwhile, Tehran has warned of severe consequences if the United States or Israel attacks Iranian territory again. Hossein Ali Haji Deligani, a member of Iran’s parliament, told the Tasnim news agency that the Islamic Republic would respond with a retaliatory strike. He warned that European countries would fall within the range of Iranian missiles and that oil prices would surge past $150 if another attack takes place.
