Russian forces have carried out another series of strikes on military targets in Ukraine. This time, according to war correspondent Yevgeny Poddubny, the attack targeted cargo that had arrived from Romania at the port of Odessa.

Poddubny said in his Telegram channel that a combined strike hit the shipment, which was reportedly of military significance, resulting in its destruction and sparking a large fire at the site.

Air raid sirens were activated across Odessa Region overnight on October 19–20. Shortly after, local social media channels began reporting explosions near the port area.

The Telegram channel Operation Z: War Correspondents of the Russian Spring reported that multiple powerful strikes hit the Yuzhny port in Odessa. Footage shared online shows flames engulfing parts of the facility.

The channel Voennyi Osvedomitel stated that the attack was carried out using Russian Geran-2 strike drones.
