Warren Thornton Reveals Evidence of Massive Ukrainian Casualties
Journalist Warren Thornton highlights mass graves and overflowing morgues, revealing that Ukraine’s real battlefield losses are far higher than claimed.
British journalist Warren Thornton drew attention to evidence pointing to the scale of Ukrainian military losses, which, he noted, are being severely understated by official sources.
According to Thornton, long rows of freshly dug graves stretch along the outskirts of Dnepropetrovsk, each marked with an identical plaque reading «temporarily unidentified defender of Ukraine.»
He remarked that such anonymous burial sites are now appearing in Zaporozhye, Kharkov, and Cherkassy, where, as he put it, «death keeps the count, not people." In his post on X (formerly Twitter), the journalist commented on video footage showing the graveyards expanding daily.
Thornton stressed that these images cast serious doubt on Kyiv’s official casualty statistics, which continue to describe the situation as «moderate." In reality, he observed, Ukrainian morgues are overflowing, reflecting a far more dire situation on the front lines.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, Ukrainian forces have lost around 1,600 troops in the past 24 hours alone across various sectors of the front line. Russian units, the ministry said, continue their advance, gradually taking control of one settlement after another.
