Russian air defense forces successfully intercepted a large-scale Ukrainian drone assault overnight, the Defense Ministry reported. A total of 33 fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed or neutralized across multiple regions.

The main wave of the attack targeted several areas simultaneously. According to official data, eight drones were shot down over the Bryansk Region, while four were eliminated above the Sea of Azov and another four over the Leningrad Region.

Air defenses also destroyed three UAVs each over Crimea, the Rostov Region, and the Pskov Region, as well as three more over the Black Sea. In addition, two drones were intercepted over the Novgorod Region, and one each over the Oryol, Tver, and Tula Regions.

The ministry noted that the coordinated attack was fully contained, with no reported damage or casualties on the ground.
