Russian forces are pressing their offensive on the Krasny Liman front, according to war correspondent Yury Kotenok. He reported that fierce battles are unfolding on the northern outskirts of Drobyshevo, where Russian units are gradually moving closer to the center of the settlement.

Kotenok noted that Russian troops have managed to break through into the nearby village of Stavki, about 11 kilometers from Drobyshevo. The units reportedly took control of part of the road linking the two settlements, tightening their grip on local supply routes.

Military analyst and retired naval captain Vasily Dandykin previously emphasized that the assault on Krasny Liman — known in Ukraine as Liman — carries both strategic and symbolic weight. He recalled that Russian forces withdrew from the area in 2022, a move Kyiv hailed as a «victory." Now, Dandykin said, the battlefield situation has changed dramatically.
