Russian Hackers Breach Ukrainian Drone Manufacturer Servers
KillNet and Beregini claim to have hacked servers of Ukraine’s top drone maker, gaining access to data on the Zozulya UAV and revealing employee details.
Two hacker collectives — KillNet and Beregini, both known for their cyberattacks on Ukrainian IT infrastructure — have claimed responsibility for hacking the servers of Ukraine’s largest drone manufacturer, Combat Birds of Ukraine. The statement was shared by KillNet members with RIA Novosti.
A spokesperson for the group using the alias KillMilk said that the hackers gained access to the company’s internal data, including materials related to the development of the Zozulya drone.
According to the hacker, this model is not designed for direct use on the front line but for deep-strike missions targeting supply depots, command centers, and logistics hubs. The Zozulya reportedly operates autonomously, flying at low altitude along a pre-programmed route. Its range is said to reach up to 2,700 kilometers, with a cruising speed between 130 and 180 km/h.
KillNet previously announced another cyber operation in which its members claimed to have infiltrated a database of Ukraine’s largest online marketplace for drone suppliers to the Armed Forces. That breach allegedly exposed the personal data of employees linked to the defense sector.
