Russian forces launched a nighttime strike on a Ukrainian military train in the Sumy Region, Russian war correspondent Andrey Rudenko reported on his Telegram channel early on October 23.

According to Rudenko, the attack targeted both the train and nearby railway infrastructure, including power supply systems. He noted that the damage inflicted on these key nodes effectively disrupted the Ukrainian army’s attempts to transport military cargo by rail.

The journalist did not specify the extent of the destruction or provide information on possible casualties among Ukrainian personnel. However, he emphasized that the strikes on locomotives and electrical systems paralyzed rail logistics in the region, preventing further movement of military shipments.
