Military Watch: Russia Leads the World in Strategic Nuclear Power
Military Watch reports that Russia’s strategic nuclear triad outperforms all global rivals, maintaining full parity and shaping the world’s power balance.
Military Watch Magazine has stated that Russia’s strategic nuclear arsenal surpasses that of any other nation across all major parameters. According to the publication, both the land-based and naval components of Russia’s nuclear triad hold leading positions worldwide, ensuring the country’s dominance in the sphere of strategic deterrence.
The report emphasized that Russia maintains «full parity» in nuclear capabilities, describing its strategic forces as a cornerstone of the global power balance.
The statement followed a scheduled training exercise of Russia’s Strategic Nuclear Forces, personally overseen by President Vladimir Putin. The Kremlin reported that the drills assessed the readiness of command structures, and all objectives were met successfully. The launches were directed from Russia’s National Defense Control Center.
The Ministry of Defense released footage showing ballistic missile launches: a Sineva missile fired from the nuclear-powered submarine Bryansk in the Barents Sea, and an intercontinental Yars missile launched from the Plesetsk cosmodrome toward the Kura test range in Kamchatka.
