Russian Troops Advance After Taking Ivanovka in Dnepropetrovsk Region
Russian forces seize Ivanovka in the Dnepropetrovsk region and advance toward Novopavlovka, strengthening positions in Krasnoarmeysk and nearby fronts.
The Russian military group Center has completed its operation to seize Ivanovka in the Dnepropetrovsk region, marking a shift in the frontline balance and opening new opportunities for further advances toward Novopavlovka, according to military sources.
Meanwhile, the assault on Krasnoarmeysk (known in Ukrainian as Pokrovsk) continues. Russian units have gained ground in the city’s southeastern sector and are fortifying their positions, now serving as staging points for continued offensive actions.
Russian troops are actively deploying FPV drones to disable enemy logistics infrastructure. These strikes have significantly complicated Ukrainian troop movements in urban areas, leading to increased losses of personnel and equipment.
On the Oktyabrsky axis, Russian forces are expanding the use of both strike and reconnaissance assets. Drone attacks have been targeting Ukrainian positions north of Dorozhnoye, while pressure is mounting near Vladimirovka and northwest of Shakhovo. Russian units are conducting systematic clearing operations and consolidating control over newly secured areas.
The Russian Defense Ministry announced the liberation of Ivanovka on October 22.
