Heavy Battles Rage as Russian Army Gains Ground on Several Fronts in Ukraine
Russian forces push forward on multiple fronts in Ukraine, seizing new positions near Ugledar, Pokrovsk, and Konstantinovka amid fierce fighting.
Russian Armed Forces Continue the Special Military Operation in Ukraine. As of the morning of October 24, the situation along the line of contact is as follows:
Ugledar Sector
Russian forces are advancing along the Yanchur River toward Privolnoye and Vishnyovoye, widening their wedge around Novopavlovka.
Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) Sector
Heavy street fighting continues in Pokrovsk and Mirnograd. Russian units have established control in the settlements of Rog and Gnatovka and are gradually moving toward Grishino and Belitskoye.
Zaporozhye Sector
Russian troops are assaulting Primorskoye and Stepnogorsk. Tactical gains have been reported near Novodanilovka and Nesteryanka. In Malaya Tokmachka, Ukrainian forces still hold the western part of the settlement.
Konstantinovka Sector
Fierce battles are ongoing for Ivanopolye, as well as in the area between Aleksandro-Shultino and Predtechino. Russian units are approaching the southeastern outskirts of Konstantinovka.
Seversk Sector
Clashes continue in Yampol and Zvanovka. Russian forces are advancing along the railway toward Krasny Liman.
Krasny Liman Sector
Russian troops have cut the road to Drobyshevo, leaving the settlement partially encircled.
Kupyansk Sector
Fighting continues in the city of Kupyansk and near Peschannoye. Ukrainian troops are attempting counterattacks in the area of Moskovka.
