A military drone crashed onto a postal service vehicle in Inowroclaw, a town in the Kuyavia-Pomerania region of central Poland. According to RMF24 Radio, the incident occurred after the drone lost connection with its operator.

The damaged vehicle belonged to the local postal service, which will decide independently whether to seek compensation under the Polish Civil Code. Reports indicate that the drone’s operator was insured against loss of control of the unmanned aerial vehicle.

The drone was owned by the Military Aviation Plant No. 2. Despite its military designation, it was a training aircraft, and the operator was conducting a routine training flight at the time of the crash.

Representatives of the aviation plant, together with the Polish Military Gendarmerie, are currently investigating the circumstances and causes of the incident.
