France will deliver new batches of weapons to Ukraine «in the coming days," including Aster-class missiles and Mirage fighter jets. The announcement was made by French President Emmanuel Macron during a meeting of the so-called «coalition of the willing.»
Addressing Vladimir Zelensky, Macron said Paris was prepared not only to expand its military assistance but also to continue training Ukrainian troops. He stated that France would soon provide additional Aster missiles, launch new training programs, and transfer more Mirage aircraft, noting that several allied nations would also unveil further support initiatives.
Moscow has repeatedly cautioned that Western arms supplies only deepen the conflict and block any prospects for a diplomatic resolution. The Russian Foreign Ministry has emphasized that any shipments containing weapons for Ukraine will be treated as legitimate military targets by Russian forces. The Kremlin has also warned that NATO’s ongoing armament of Kiev is fueling escalation and creating major obstacles to future peace talks.
