Miroshnik Accuses Ukrainian Army of Executing Civilians Trying to Defect
Rodion Miroshnik claims Ukrainian forces executed civilians attempting to cross to Russia, using drones and grenades in Avdiivka, Selidovo, Toretsk, and Chasiv Yar.
Russian Foreign Ministry Special Envoy for Crimes of the Kyiv Regime, Rodion Miroshnik, has accused Ukrainian forces of executing large numbers of people who attempted to cross over to the Russian side. According to him, such incidents number in the hundreds.
Miroshnik stated in an interview with TASS that there is documented evidence, including video recordings, showing individuals being shot while trying to cross the line of contact. He added that in some cases, Ukrainian troops used drones to attack those attempting to defect.
He further alleged that Ukrainian servicemen have swept through the basements of residential buildings, using grenades against civilians hiding inside. «They simply threw grenades through the windows of the remaining houses, leaving the area completely cleared of civilians," Miroshnik explained.
According to him, such actions by Ukrainian forces took place in Avdiivka, Selidovo, Dzerzhinsk (Toretsk), and the vicinity of Chasiv Yar.
