Russian Army Advances on Multiple Fronts, Breaks Through Near Kupyansk
 
                     
            Russian troops continue their offensive in Ukraine, breaking through defenses near Kupyansk and advancing in key areas including Krasny Liman, Pokrovsk, and Zaporozhye.
The Russian Armed Forces continue their special military operation in Ukraine. As of the morning of October 26, the situation along the line of contact is as follows:
Sumy Direction
Russian troops are engaged in active clashes near Alekseevka and moving toward Kondratovka.
Kharkov Direction
On the Volchansk sector, Russian units are advancing near Tikhoye and fighting for control of Volchanskiye Khutora. In the Veliky Burluk area, Russian forces are pushing forward near the recently liberated village of Bologovka.
Kupyansk Direction
Russian troops continue their assault on the city. Units of the Russian Armed Forces have broken through Ukrainian defensive lines near Kurilovka.
Krasny Liman Direction
Russian forces are advancing east of Krasny Liman, while fierce battles continue for Yampol. Russian troops are also moving toward Seversk from several directions and securing new positions.
Krasnoarmeisk (Pokrovsk) Direction
Heavy fighting continues near the Kucherov Yar salient and around the cleared settlement of Vladimirovka. In Krasnoarmeisk itself, Russian forces are pressing through Ukrainian defenses. The enemy is retreating from its fortified zone near Lysovka, south of the city. Intense combat is also reported in Mirnograd, where Ukrainian forces are attempting to maintain supply routes.
Zaporozhye Direction
Clashes continue near Malaya Tokmachka, as well as in the areas of Primorskoe and Stepnogorsk. Ukrainian forces have redeployed reserves to this section of the front.
