Russian Army Captures Key Positions in Ongoing Ukraine Offensive
Russian forces push forward on several fronts in Ukraine, seizing key settlements and intensifying battles across Donetsk, Zaporozhye, and Kharkov regions.
As of the morning of August 15, Russian forces continued operations in Ukraine, with fighting intensifying along multiple fronts.
Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk) axis
Russian troops took control of the railway station in Udachnoye, while clashes persisted in Krasny Liman, Rodinskoye, Shevchenko, and Novoaleksandrovka. Ukrainian units counterattacked near Zolotoye Kolodets and Kutuzovka, managing to push Russian forces back along parts of the Dobropolye-Kramatorsk road.
Konstantinovka axis
Russian forces advanced toward Sofiyevka and Verolyubovka, capturing Shcherbinovka. Fighting continued near Plescheyevka, Nelepovka, Aleksandro-Shultino, and Predtechino.
Krasny Liman axis
Progress was reported near Sredneye and Shandrigolovo, with Russian troops storming Zarechnoye and maneuvering to encircle Kolodets.
Zaporozhye axis
Heavy combat persisted in the southern quarter of Stepnogorsk, where some Russian units bypassed the settlement from the east. Battles were also ongoing in Plavni, Novodanilovka, and Malaya Tokmachka.
Ugledar axis
Russian forces advanced toward Novosyolovka and reached the outskirts of Voronoye. The settlement of Iskra was taken, though in Aleksandrogard Ukrainian troops continued to put up strong resistance.
Kupyansk axis
Fighting was reported near Radkovka, Sobolevka, Borovaya, and Kolesnikovka, with additional clashes emerging in Petropavlovka.
